72 County Fact Sheets – The DHS 2019-2021 Budget Proposal

DHS Secretary-designee Andrea Palm has asked DHS staff to assemble fact sheets for the 72 Wisconsin Counties in order to provide data and information regarding allocations of the funding within specific counties.

Secretary-designee Palm has stated that the proposed Medicaid expansion plus the new initiatives will enable DHS to draw down a total of $1.6 billion in new federal funding. When the new initiatives are combined with all other investments for Department of Health Services program, from both the state and federal government, the budget provides a total of $2.6 billion in new funding, of which $2.4 billion will be invested in Wisconsin communities.

The fact sheets can be found on the newly developed website, County Fact Sheets: DHS 2019-2021 Budget Proposal, located here. Click on a specific county on the map to open the fact sheet for that county.
