Lincoln Burr testified on Tuesday before the Committee on Government Operations, Technology, and Consumer Protection in favor of Senate Bill 19 which would remove the term “mental retardation” from Wisconsin’s administrative rules. Linc also asked that consideration is given to eliminating the antiquated term “sheltered workshop” which was replaced two decades ago with Community Rehabilitation Program or CRP.
